Do you want a website expert to answer your questions, proofread your pages, set you some traffic-winning & sales-driving homework – and all for £15 per month? By gosh have we got some excellent news for you.
If you’ve read one of Aime’s insightful Instagram posts or done a deepdive into our blog and thought “Dang that’s insightful, but how to I actually make that work for my website” – well, that’s exactly why we opened the doors to our private Slack community.
Our ultra simple membership gives you access to our suite of Slack channels. You can drop in whatever is on your mind, or just lurk, listen, and learn from our friendly small business community.
What’s more, you can join fortnightly live sessions chocka with reviews, tutorials, tricks, tips, and insights – as well as a YouTube playlist of over 100 playbacks.
And what’s more what’s more, you can leave any time. There’s no minimum stay – just nab the website help you need.
If we host your Studio Cotton website, you can access our premium Slack community for free. Perfect for business owners, marketing managers, and administrators looking to increase their SEO & accessibility knowledge, and inspire their next website addition.
Nope, the membership isn’t platform-specific – no matter what your website is built with – you are welcome to join.
We share advice about ideal solutions, and suggest compromises if your platform doesn’t quite work the way you need it to.
Aime is pretty knowledgeable on the main platforms, but as we’re WordPress, WooCommerce & Elementor Pro specialists, we have a lil extra expertise in these areas.
Not really. We do try to provide advice on troubleshooting common errors and challenges, but we recommend speaking to your website platform or developer if you need something specific fixed.
We do have an additional channel for Elementor in the community where we try our best to share solutions for this platform, but they are not guaranteed.
Slack is a free messaging app, popular in businesses and teams. If you can use WhatsApp or Instagram DMs – you’ll be a-ok with Slack too.
It works in the internet browser on your phone, tablet, or browser.
We recommend downloading the Slack app for desktop/laptop if you haven’t already.
No, we use the free version of Slack for our membership too so nobody pays for this fella.
The Slack community is always available, but founder Aime only checks & responds to messages during our studio hours – and occasionally when she’s sat in a cafe at the weekend.
As many as you need to. There’s no limit to the number of submissions, questions, or feedback requests from members.
If at any time we find that any member’s submissions may become disruptive to the whole community, we might send them a DM to suggest more one-to-one support. However, we’ve been going for years and this situation is yet to even slightly arise!
The membership is per person, not per business, so each team member should join and create their own account.
We are a little flexible on this. So, for example, if you co-run a business and want one person to take the lead, we’ll occasionally permit access by an additional person. Just make sure to DM us first if you think you’d fit into the situation.
We meet every other Thursday at 2:30pm (UK time), using Google Meet. The link is shared in the Slack chat on the morning of live days, as well as being bookmarked at the top of the #ask-aime channel.
The playbacks are available via the YouTube playlist, also bookmarked in the #ask-aime channel.
Yep, that’s the big benefit of the Studio Cotton Clubhouse. All questions are asked out in the open, which means you can see what other challenges small businesses are facing, and see Aime’s advice and feedback on how to face them.
Nope! If you’d rather lurk and learn from other member’s questions, that’s totally fine. Quite a few of our members fall into this category.
Head back to buymeacoffee.com, the platform we use to manage our subscription payments.
Follow their steps to cancel your membership whenever you’d like. We’ll then remove you from our Slack within the next month (you’ll need to delete the apps from your phone/laptop).
If you rejoin after a previous cancellation, you may need to message to be let back in, sorry!
